How do you celebrate April Fool’s Day in a way that’s funny, on-brand, and actually does some good? That’s exactly what I set out to do!
I collaborated with the agency’s graphic designer to develop a mock logo for our fictional dog modeling agency, using a coworker’s dog as our mascot. From there, I led the planning and execution of the campaign. I captured photos and videos of her and used Canva to design a series of humorous mock photo shoots, placing her in fun scenes like the beach and Paris. The following day, I partnered with a local animal shelter to walk adoptable dogs and feature them on our social media channels to promote adoption. All three dogs featured have now been adopted!
Yesterday’s post may have been an April Fool’s joke, but our love for dogs is no joke! Today, our social media coordinator visited Angels of Assisi to spend time with some adorable dogs and take them for a walk. Stop by their adoption event this Saturday, April 5th from 12pm to 4pm!

We are happy to announce that 5Points Creative is now 4Paws Creative, Roanoke's first Dog Modeling Agency! We are looking for hot, up and coming dogs in the Roanoke area that know how to STRUT down a runway (or a dog run). If you or someone you know has a photogenic dog, contact us today! Swipe to see our first campaign with our first signed model, Frankie.
Our post from the animal shelter remains our top-performing content from the past three months, with the April Fool’s Day post coming in second. We reached 88.9% non-followers with the shelter post, allowing us to break out of our existing audience and introduce the 5Points Creative brand to a new and broader community. We also saw an increase in profile visits and website clicks, proving that a creative concept paired with meaningful community involvement can deliver real impact. Creative and community-centered work like this is exactly what I love to do.
